Traditional is the version with chopped tomatoes, basil, salt and extra virgin olive oil, served either as a starter or a snack. Friselle, a typical product from Apulia are prepared by hand following the tradition, the dough is first left to leaven, then divided in smaller parts, which are subsequently boiled, dried and baked at 180°. Suitable for vegans & vegetarians.

Palo del Colle is a town in the province of Bari but is mainly known for being the birthplace of the now, worldwide famous, Tarallo. And in Palo del Colle is where the Antichi Sapori bakery is located.
Antichi Sapori is a small, family bakery that was founded in 1993, when they decided to produce the best tarallo. Since then , they added several other products to their range expanding their bakery, initially all typical Apulia snacks and then moved into producing pasta using the local flour, but remaining faithful to their philosophy of only using the best available ingredients.
