Grappa is a traditional Italian spirit, strong, brandy-like, made from grape skins, stems and seeds left over of the wine making process, often drunk after a meal and the espresso, and as the name “50/50” suggests, this Grappa is made of two grapes, 50% Moscato and 50% Chianti grapes.
Each grape is distilled and aged individually for a minimum of 12 months and then blended into one, to create a very unique, carefully crafted, a World Spirit Competition Gold Medal winner grappa.
Too often Grappa is associated with tasteless, alcoholic, burning spirits, however, when properly made, Grappa is a delicious, very complex drink full of flavours, read Andrea’s post and learn about

Grappa has its own glass, called the
Tulip Glass, a dedicated glass that allow for the nose of the spirit to open up.
Under the current generation, the Liquorificio, distillery, Morelli, originally called the Antica Grapperia Toscana, has been going from strength to strength, producing liqueurs and spirits of the highest quality. The credo of this Tuscan distillery is the belief in using only the best natural ingredients for its products and using the family recipes they have used for centuries that have resulted in them winning a large number of awards, not only for their grappa, but also for their delicious
Limoncello and
Arancino.
