Grillo is a variety of white grape that originates from Italy and is commonly grown in Sicily due to its ability to tolerate high temperatures which makes it well suited to the its climate. Grillo is a semi aromatic grape and is widely used in the production of many other Sicilian wines or vinified on its own.

Grillo grown in and around the town of Marsala is also used in the production of Marsala Oro and Ambra.
