Bardolino wines are often seen as the second choice amongst the Valpolicella wines, however, a good bardolino can be a great wine, different from all the others, but none the less and a good glass of wine. This organic Bardolino Classico made from hand picked grapes grown in the heart of the area is a fantastic red wine, with a fruity nose, slightly spiced, fresh. On the palate is fruity, smooth, lively, with a never ending finish of black cherry.
This Bardolino classico, suitable for a vegan diet, is perfect with pasta or pizza or to drink on its own over some tarallini.
The artisan who made it
Le Tende winery is located on Lake Garda, between Colà di Lazise and Cavaion Veronese, on a land that is blessed with a mild climate that has always been particularly suited for the production of great wines. The Le Tende is also a small olive orchard from which they produce an olive oil which is manly used by the family. Le Tende winery is also organic and natural farming from the beginning, they believe in protecting and respecting the environment.
Le Tende vineyards are located in the heart of Bardolino Classico and Custoza area, in the towns of Colà di Lazise and Cavaion Veronese, with the most northern vineyards in the Custoza appellation where the particular soil with sandy and strongly calcareous texture gives the wine a particular aromaticity and minerality.
Le Tende is native grapes with the addition of the international cabernet sauvignon that has found on the lake shore a home.
