Montepulciano is one of the most complete and versatile grape around to make great wines, just ask any winemaker, and Abruzzo is its homeland, the grape is grown everywhere from north to south, from west to east and produces some outstanding wine.

Our mixed case made of 6 very different Montepulciano wines, 5 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo both DOC and DOCG and one from neighbouring Marche, is a journey through a grape too often underappreciated by wine drinkers and a region, two regions in this case, that have plenty to offer. The Montepulciano wines included in the case range from a unaged, fruity Montepulciano, all the way to a French barrique wood ageing, a "wine" adventure.
